Slowly Catching Up

Well, it has taken me a minute to finally get this updated and more in line with what I am currently doing. For so long, my art has been on the back burner, waiting to have my full attention. I have made art (and a lot of craft) but not in the way I wanted. I really can't complain, sometimes things just have to wait. My family comes first and I like it that way just fine.

But now.... The kids are grown up, we are down to just one, very sweet, old dog, my sidekick Sheba, and I am no longer teaching. My husband is being very supportive and I think, finally gets how much this means to me! I have rearranged my studio, packed up my teaching supplies, put them storage and I am learning to make my art my priority. I am still getting used to not having to be somewhere else and the feelings that maybe I should be are just about gone.

So, I may not do this as often as I probably should, but I will work on it. I love making art and I enjoy sharing it with others. For now, I am happy just having it seen, but hopefully, in the not too distant future, more of my work will make its way into other people's homes and a art gallery or two...
