Diving in head first

Updated: Dec 8, 2020

As you get older, it gets harder to try new things. But sometimes it is worth it. I have been quilting for while, and I love to quilt and to design. Having ideas bounce around in my head and then finally getting them out and into something tangible is a thrill. It is not always a fast process, sometimes years in the making, sometimes only a few days. But however long it takes, it feels good to make it a reality. I am trying to look at blogging the same way. I am better with fabric than I am with words, but I want to share what I do, so I am going to learn. Bear with me, it may be a bumpy ride, but I will try my best and keep learning.

One if my first original designs, it took me a couple of years to finally get it out of my head and into fabric.

These are just a few of the things I have made over the years. I draw my inspiration for nature, history and the small things in everyday life that bring me joy.
